Happy Birthday Dad

On Sunday the family left in Utah got together to celebrate my Dad's birthday. It was one of the most relaxing get togethers! The kids were so into all the toys at Lori's house (thanks rob and Lori) that they barely did much else. This pinata was my present to him -he hard to buy for, so I thought we'd have fun. Travis was so funny about this pinata, as it sat on our counter for a couple days previous, every time he saw it he would point out that that is a "silly grandpa" and chuckle - it was so funny and cute. When we got back from camping he must've forgotten about it because he laughed pretty good when he saw it again.

Brooklyn was my favorite pinata hitter. Her facial expressions were priceless. She took some good whacks at it.

Travis likes hitting anything. Especially with a stick.
The couples reaction when Brookly decapitated Lyle.

Then Aaron pitched the body of the pinata to Dad - he swung and knocked it open pretty good

We had a lot of fun. Thanks Lori for the pics - it would've been a boring post without.

Sounds like quite the party, sad we couldn't be there! Funny what a kick Travis got out of it
