This was by far our families favorite vacation. What an awesome, relaxing, fun week! Really what made it was my mom watching Hailey and Ashley. That enabled us to just play and enjoy with no worries. I was in Heaven. Even the 7 hour car ride down was enjoyable!
We were pampered with great neighbors on a huge boat.
The kids (and adults) loved that you could jump and slide off the back of the boat. That was our first adventure.
We then spent a lot of time on this seedoo. Oh how it made me want one!! We pulled the kids on the kneeboard, skis, and tubes behind it most of the days.
Travis is ready. Both him and Whitney rode the kneeboard without problem. It was the skis that took some time and convincing. But they both got up!
We played in the sand during breaks.
It was a constant party!
The kids loved this tube. It held 4 people and was really sturdy. The kids would sit and just wait for someone to take them out :)
My sweet Whitney. It was fun to be able to give Whitney and Travis our attention...since Hailey and Ashley are now our high maintenance kids!!
I need to add some boating pics here. But they are on Aaron's phone. So suffice it to say my heaven was Wakeboading and surfing!! Oh what a blast it was to have the thrill of cruising. One night I was dying to go, even though it was sunset, because the lake was glass. Aaron talked them into a quick boat adventure. I loved it. Everything about it was freedom to me. Something I have felt VERY deprived of lately. What a breath of fresh air and rejuvenation to my soul!
After we did smores on the beach. We always ate well. Between our bacon and egg breakfasts that should've covered our whole day.
This is the other part of my heaven. I couldn't get enough of sitting on the top of the boat, enjoying the sun. The view was amazing. It was so peaceful. So uninterrupted by life. So relaxing!! This was hard to say good-bye to!
We were spoiled the whole week. It was fun to spend time with our neighbors the Rigtrups, Condies, and Christensen's. I think this will be a very hard vacation to pass up in rankings!
