When daddy's away... we go to Grandma's and play

The last couple days Aaron went on a business trip to St. George, so.. as always, we decided to go bug Grandma and Grandpa Rasmussen and bring some choas to thier lives and excitement to ours. We decided last moment to go Sunday night instead of monday morning - we hurried and packed in 15 min. and off to Grandma's house we went. In order to assure that my kids were happy on the way I gave them both some licorice. Whitney downed hers in no time flat - but to Travis it was endless entertainment - I laughed pretty hard when I saw the end result when we arrived!

Whitney has been bugging me daily to go to Grandma's house and get a popcicle. Even though it wasn't so hot outside she still got plenty of popcicle in. Whitney was in heaven the whole trip... except for the fact that both of my kids still have this little annoying cold they can't kick. I pretty much made my mom shop with me the whole 2 days - it felt good to get out with some help and get some good September christmas shopping done!

Here is some video of Whitney singing (she only knows loud) with Travis and thier new mickey and minnie that we bought on the shopping spree with Grandma. Also there is a clip showing how mobile Travis is getting - he is all over the place now and is doing the classic "stalling car" move where he is in position to crawl but just rocks back and forth. He tries to pull himself up on everything! It's pretty obvious that we are in for it.
