First things First - all the kids were ready to go swimming right away since Grandma finally talked grandpa into getting a swimming pool!

The party turned into a progressive water park - first the pool, then running through the Dora Sprinkler, and finally my favorite - the slip n slide. It was pretty fun to watch Matt, Reagan, Whitney and Brooklyn fun around the spraying Dora.

Grandma is so gracious about organized chaos in her home. There truly was never a dull moment with 5 grandkids living it up at Grandmas house.

It was so fun to see Reagan - she is such a great kid. It was her 1st Birthday so we got to watch her enjoy her cake! My favorite moment with her was when she saw me bouncing on the ball with travis and wanted on - she loved it.

Aaron gave me a great surprise and showed up at the party - he came straight from the airport (from a business trip) and definately made me take a double take.

Jeff and Paselly came before thier long trip to Cali for the summer

Whitney loved following Brooklyn wherever she went

Grandpa keeping Travis happy

It was also fun to see Lindsay. She got home at about 4 am this same day and impressively almost knew what was going on. It was fun to see her pictures and talk briefly about Isreal with her - man, it made me miss it!! I think mom is happy to have a playmate live with her for the rest of the summer too!

After our shindig on Friday we headed up to Idaho Saturday for a Hoopes Reunion. We thought it would be smart to travel later in the evening since Whitney and Travis would sleep - we were half right. Whitney talked from about 7 to 10 pm nonstop. Aaron made me put on Finding Nemo to try and gather his sanity, but she decided to narrate what was going on. Luckily she crashed when we got to Justin and Harley's house in Rexburg.
The kids loved playing outside almost the entire time and watching the big construction project - Grandpas new 20 ft. swingset!

We got a lot of 4 wheeler rides in. The grandkids were always begging to go see the baby cows up the road. The last day there I decided to go for a run and have Aaron come pick me up - so I wouldn't have to run back down. This was a great plan until I took a wrong turn. Whitney drove with him on the 4 wheeler for an hour looking for me and feel asleep - giving Aaron the challenge of holding onto her with one hand and driving with the other. No worries - I was found after running for 1 hour and 45 minutes and no - I still can't feel my legs.

This was a rare moment of finding the kids inside - it lasted maybe 5 minutes

.
Travis was an angel the whole time - exept for a meltdown at the pool. He was loving life in the warm pool until who knows what set him off - we were reminded real fast that he has good lungs and longevity. I love that he is grabbing his toes now!

We had fun with all the hoopes gang and will miss Luke and Emily living close by! It has been really fun having them over to play and visit - whitney is one of their fans too.
On our way back we stopped in at Grandma Rasmussen's once again to cut up the long drive. Whitney was in heaven to get some time with Grandma at castle park and getting chicken and icecream. I think this video shows a little bit of her happiness upon her return.
Cute picture I couldn't leave out - my mom once again allowing me a little freedom!
